Painting in France

Travel Sketches and Paintings from Normandy, Brittany and the Loire

In 2025 I created a series of on-location sketches and paintings while travelling the Atlantic coast of France, from Normandy to Brittany. Followed by visiting some of the most impressive castles in the Loire Valley.

I worked mainly with ink and watercolour, with a little touch of digital painting. The beautiful and colourful French landscape, seascape, coastal villages and iconic Loire castles inspired these painted impressions.
