Ever since I was a student I’ve been inspired by posters.  All kinds.  Such as movies, events, products and especially travel.

I enjoy studying the works of famous poster designers, how they use their paintings, how they use graphic elements, how they use colours and lettering.

Some of my heroes in classic poster design from the 20th century are Bernard Villemot, Saul Bass, Roger Broders and Adolphe Mouron Cassandre.  Click on their names to see their works.

Modern day poster designers whose work I like and whom I’ve had the pleasure to discover are Mikel Casel in San Sebastián, Monsieur Z, and Gary Godel.  Click on their names to visit their sites.

I’ve started using some of my own works for posters, and I love it.  So far mainly travel posters to share the beautiful mountain scenery of the Swiss and French Alps, the beauty of Crete.  I’ve been impressed by the interest.
