Travel Sketches and Paintings from the Netherlands

In May 2024, we traveled through the Netherlands, a nice opportunity to (re)discover some beautiful places after many years.

I created a series of on-location sketches and paintings. These drawings were made in Enkhuizen, Kinderdijk, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Zeeland, Utrecht, on the island of Terschelling and many more places. I worked with ink, watercolour and digital painting, capturing everyday Dutch landscapes, harbours and street scenes.
