Ireland and Northern Ireland – Travel Sketches and Paintings

In 2026, we travelled through Ireland and Northern Ireland, exploring the landscapes, towns, coastlines and everyday life of this beautiful island. Along the way, I created a series of on-location sketches and paintings, capturing the places and moments that caught my eye.

This collection includes ink drawings, watercolour paintings and digital paintings made during the journey, from Dublin, Cork and Kinsale to the Dingle Peninsula, the Cliffs of Moher and Connemara, and further north to Derry, the Giant’s Causeway, Ballintoy, Portrush and Belfast.

I like to draw and paint while travelling, working directly from what I see rather than trying to create an exact representation.
